Our story

Chevez Ezaneh, founder

Chevez Ezaneh is a First Nations entrepreneur and a member of English River First Nation in Treaty 10 territory, based in Saskatoon. FN Keys started in 2019 as a passion project, built in his spare time in his garage. What began as one keyboard has grown into keyboards used in schools and language programs.

With a background in multimedia and design, Chevez builds technology that makes Indigenous languages part of everyday life, starting with the keyboard. He is a father, always tinkering on new projects, and when he steps away from the workbench he is a passionate cyclist.

FN Keys works with community. The Dene keyboard was developed in collaboration with Elder Carol Estralshenen and Common Weal Community Arts.

“Why imagine the future when you can build it?”

What we make

We have been selling language keyboards since 2019. Today we offer a Dene keyboard and a Plains Cree keyboard, and we are adding more languages through 2026.

Our goal is simple. People should be able to type their own language on a computer as easily as anyone types English.
